I was born on August 14, 1976 in Hazel Crest, IL (a suburb of Chicago).  When I was in fifth grade, our family moved to Oxnard, CA (about 50 miles north of Los Angeles).  I graduated from Cornerstone Christian High School in 1994.  I did my undergrad studies at Concordia University in Irvine, CA and graduated in 1998. After college, I went to Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN and received my Master of Divinity in 2002.  From 2002 until 2021, I served congregations in Central Illinois.  On June 13, 2021, I married my wife, Alyssa Allen.  We moved to Haxtun a couple months after our wedding and I was installed as pastor of Immanuel Lutheran on October 3, 2021.  Since living in Haxtun, I've been blessed to serve in the Haxtun Lions Club and the Haxtun Booster Club. I also serve as a substitute teacher at Haxtun School and am now a member of the Haxtun Chamber of Commerce.
